Project Manager

The RELI Group is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as a Project Coordinator with a background and understanding of payment and service delivery models originating from the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation (the Innovation Center). The Center for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation (the Innovation Center) with CMS supports the development and testing of innovative health care payment and service delivery models.  This resource will help coordinate the implementation of new payment and service delivery models identified by the Innovation Center in accordance with the requirements of section 1115A of the Social Security Act.  The incumbent will provide support in the areas of planning, organizing, managing, coordinating, and tracking of multiple service delivery models as assigned from planning to completion.  This includes scope management, schedule management, performance monitoring, and status reporting, and risk management.  It is anticipated that CMMI support will account for .5 FTE of the key duties and responsibilities of the position.  The remaining .5 FTE of the position will include general project management support to multiple Lines of Business (LOBs) in the executing of scope for the CMS Center for Clinical Standards and Quality (CSSQ). 

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Create/maintain the overall project plan and alert stakeholders of overdue/at-risk items
  • Create, maintain, and edit detailed and complex reports using Microsoft Office Suite of tools
  • Coordinate the delivery of project deliverables
  • Coordinate project management activities to meet schedule timelines
  • Maintain the master project schedule and all supporting schedules in MS Project and the MS Project Server environment.
  • Develop schedules, presentations, reports, and deliverables to be used as decision making tools for program and customer management.
  • Track baselines, variance, critical path, risks, and overall project health/status.  Perform what-if analysis and other ad hoc reporting.
  • Update project logs including decision log, action item log, and risk register and assist in development of mitigation and contingency plans
  • Communicate schedule needs to other ISG contractors
  • Provide status updates
  • Ensure audit processes are followed
  • All other duties as assigned or directed.


  • Background and understanding in payment and service delivery models
  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 3-5 years of project management experience
  • Understanding of the PMI PMP
  • Ability to coordinate a team and provide direction for their personal development
  • Demonstrated ability in managing complex, multi-task programs/projects and multiple programs/projects concurrently
  • Demonstrated ability to manage program/project risks and issues
  • Excellent client and team building skills
  • Background Investigation required for Public Trust
